A ski or snowboard day trip from NYC, with all of fun and none of the stress? You’re welcome! Board our round-trip ski bus to Hunter Mountain, where winter adventure (and a break from the city) awaits. This NYC ski bus package is presented with our partner, Sourced Adventures.

We offer three convenient boarding locations: the Adventure Cafe (85 Delancey Street), Union Square or at W45th Street and 11th Avenue. Relax on the ride; at the mountain we’ll give you your lift ticket, equipment rental ticket, and a hot drink ticket. If you need equipment guidance, one of our expert group leaders will help. You can even rent clothing in advance here.

From there, spend the day exploring all that Hunter Mountain has to offer – whether you’re a newbie or a Black Diamond regular, there’s something for everyone, including affordable lessons, groomed trails, a terrain park, and a base lodge with copious food and drink options.

What time does the bus leave in the morning?

Can I drive myself?

Unfortunately driving yourself is prohibited. We do this for logistical and liability reasons.
Can I take the bus up on one day and the bus back on another?

Unfortunately the bus transportation is only valid for use within a single day. This is to ensure that all of our customers have available seats for the return to journey to NYC on any given day.
Are lessons available for purchase?

Yes! 90-minute lessons are available for just $25 (Normally $35) if you book in advance on our site.
Do you need to know how to ski in order to go?

Nope! We do not discriminate against beginners. Just purchase the $25 group lesson ticket on site, and the staff at Hunter Mountain will get you up and riding in no time.
Are there lockers available at the lodge?

Yes, there are lockers for use at the lesson center right after you go through the rental line. You can also leave anything you might need on the bus, as it will be safely secured for the entire day.
Is lunch included?

No, lunch is not included in your ticket. There are multiple food options at the mountain, which can be found at their the base lodge or summit lodge. There is also a bar onsite at the base.
How long is the trip?

The tour is 12-13 hours in total, depending on traffic and weather.
What time do we leave Hunter Mountain?

4:30pm sharp. The ride back is around 2.5 hours depending on weather and traffic conditions.

We strongly recommend leaving yourself extra time to return your rentals so that you do not miss the bus home.
What should I bring?

Goggles, gloves, ski pants, ski jacket, and cash or credit card for lunch at the mountain. If you don’t have proper gear you can rent ski clothing from us (after booking we provide a link for clothing rentals). You can also rent clothes through this link here Don’t forget your sense of adventure!
Where do I meet the bus?

We have great pickup options for the 19/20 winter season.

The first pickup is at our HQ, Adventure Cafe located at 85 Delancey St on the Lower East Side between Ludlow & Orchard.

The second pickup is at Union Square (NW of UNSQ Park), 41 Union Square West on the corner of 17th St & Broadway

The third and final pickup is West 45th & 11th Ave on the street across from Gotham Market.

Fine Print

Trip is nonrefundable. No full or partial refunds are given to customers who miss the event. In the event of a cancellation by the operator, your ticket will be fully refunded. Event subject to change/cancellation based on weather/river/snow level conditions. All trips run rain or shine; in the unlikely event of a cancellation you will be notified via email. For reschedules within 10 days of departure there is a $35 rescheduling fee per person. There are no reschedules or refunds for missing the bus or no-shows. Each ticket is good for one (1) person, unless specified otherwise. Trips involving alcohol are 21+ , valid ID required. All other trips are 18+. The deal is valid only for tickets on the date[s] of the event as listed and may not be exchanged or redeemed for any other dates. Provided transportation by Sourced Adventures is required; you may not drive yourself.

In order to attend any Sourced Adventure whether your ticket is purchased directly through Sourced Adventures, Inc. or any of it’s affiliates, distributors or partners you are required to sign and submit a copy of our release of liability waiver before departure. We will collect your waiver on-site and by attending you must agree to our release of liability terms outlines in our waiver.
