dThis winter, escape NYC for a day on the ski bus to Mountain Creek. Our luxury coach bus leaves most Saturday mornings from the Adventure Cafe in Union Square or W45th and 11th Avenue. Relax on the two-hour ride to New Jersey’s state-of-the-art resort Mountain Creek, which offers terrain for all levels across four mountain peaks and 46 trails. This NYC ski bus package is presented with our partner, Sourced Adventures.

Our packages offer flexibility depending on whether you just need a lift to the mountain or opt for lift ticket and gear rental. You can even rent ski clothing ahead of time here. All trips provide a guide to assist you in anything you need during the day.

FAQ

  • Can I leave my stuff on the bus?

    Yes! That said, the bus will be locked and parked away from the mountain during the day so you’ll not be able to access it.

  • Are there lockers at the mountain?

    Yes! They generally cost about $8

  • Can I drive myself?

    Unfortunately driving yourself is prohibited. We do this for logistical and liability reasons.

  • Can I take the bus up on one day and the bus back on another?

    Unfortunately the bus transportation is only valid for use within a single day. This is to ensure that all of our customers have available seats for the return to journey to NYC on any given day.

  • When do we leave the mountain?

    We leave Mountain Creek at 4:30pm

  • What should I bring?
    • Ski Clothes or warm layers. It’s important to bundle up for skiing, and to wear waterproof clothing. Ski pants and ski jackets are ideal. Don’t have ski clothes? You can rent them here.
    • Snacks for the road. It’s an early morning, so make sure you bring some breakfast with you for the bus ride up, and snacks for the ride home.
    • Nalgene or water bottle. Always important to stay hydrated throughout the day!
    • Phone charger. Your phone will drain a good amount of battery for the day, so make sure you have a charger in case of any emergencies.
    • Skies and Snowboard IF you have your own. We have plenty of room under the bus if you want to bring your own gear.
    • Spare Change. Skiing burns A LOT of calories, meaning you’ll be hungry at some point during the day. Bring some cash or credit along so you can refuel on food at the lodge or treat yourself to a beer.
  • Is lunch included?

    No, lunch is not included in your ticket. There are multiple food options at the mountain, which can be found at their the base lodge or summit lodge.

  • How long is the trip?

    The trip day in total is 12-13 hours long.

Fine Print

Trip is nonrefundable. No full or partial refunds are given to customers who miss the event. In the event of a cancellation by the operator, your ticket will be fully refunded. Event subject to change/cancellation based on weather/river/snow level conditions. All trips run rain or shine; in the unlikely event of a cancellation you will be notified via email. For reschedules within 10 days of departure there is a $35 rescheduling fee per person. There are no reschedules or refunds for missing the bus or no-shows. Each ticket is good for one (1) person, unless specified otherwise. Trips involving alcohol are 21+ , valid ID required. All other trips are 18+. The deal is valid only for tickets on the date[s] of the event as listed and may not be exchanged or redeemed for any other dates. Provided transportation by Sourced Adventures is required; you may not drive yourself.

In order to attend any Sourced Adventure whether your ticket is purchased directly through Sourced Adventures, Inc. or any of it’s affiliates, distributors or partners you are required to sign and submit a copy of our release of liability waiver before departure. We will collect your waiver on-site and by attending you must agree to our release of liability terms outlines in our waiver.
