Tickets purchased online are non-transferable and are only valid on the date and schedule number you selected at the time of purchase. Tickets are valid only in the direction of travel selected. A ticket presented for transportation by anyone other than the person for whom the ticket was originally purchased will be void. The unauthorized resale of tickets is strictly prohibited and will be prosecuted. Trailways.com is not responsible for lost or stolen tickets.
Each passenger must present a ticket and a valid photo ID in order to board any vehicles.
If a passenger has chosen to receive a Print-at-Home ticket, it is the passenger’s sole responsibility to print the ticket in advance of travel. Additionally, Print-at-Home ticket(s) must be printed single-sided. If tickets are printed on both sides, they will not be accepted.

General Fares:
Most fares are completely non refundable. Pay close attention to rules for the fare of the ticket you are purchasing to ensure that you do not purchase a ticket that you can not later refund if this is not your intention.
Fares are valid only for the date, time and schedule selected at time of purchase and may be subject to additional charges including but not limited to fees and changes in carrier price differences. Discount fares are subject to restrictions on date, time and schedule.
All requests for the reissue of tickets must be made prior to the original travel date and time of travel, otherwise the ticket will be void. Reissues must be made by using a customer account on Trailways.com created using the same email address that was used to purchase the ticket. Ticket reissues may be subject to additional fees, including but not limited to changes in the applicable fare.
Ticket reissues are not exempt from needing to be printed at home, which remains the passengers sole responsibility if that was their original choice for ticket delivery.
Fares named herein are one-way and round-trip fares, which are not controlled by Trailways.com. Fares are shown in and are payable in United States dollars, unless otherwise stated. Fares named herein MAY NOT be used as basing fares to construct fares to and from points beyond.
Except as otherwise specifically provided in these Terms & Conditions, the fares named herein are subject to the rules and regulations published in the National Passenger Tariff No. ICC NBTA 1000, amendments thereto, or reissues thereof, issued by the National Bus Traffic Association.

Refunds are permitted only on Flexible Fare tickets and are returned to the original purchase method. Refunds must be requested online prior to the date and time of the ticketed departure in order to be eligible. After the date and time of ticketed departure, all tickets including Flexible Fare tickets, are void.

All Children who have not reached their fifteenth (15th) birthday on the date of travel, when traveling with a passenger paying adult fare will be charged 75% of the fare applicable to adults.
- EXCEPTION: A child who has not reached his/her second (2nd) birthday on the date of travel when accompanied by a passenger seventeen (17) years of age or older, will be carried free of charge when not occupying a seat to the exclusion of another passenger. This exception is limited to a single child under two (2) years of age per accompanying passenger seventeen (17) years of age or older.
No baggage allowance is made for children under two (2) years of age, riding free with an adult fare-paying passenger.
All children who have not reached their twelfth (12th) birthday on the date of travel must be accompanied by a passenger seventeen (17) years of age or older.
Unaccompanied children who have reached or passed their twelfth (12th) birthday on the date of travel will be charged the fare applicable to adult passengers.
If the fare paid by accompanying adult prohibits reductions for children’s fares, the child’s fare will be the same as the adult fare.
The forgoing rules are the basis for determining children’s fares. Adirondack reserves the right to refuse to transport children from their origin when, in the judgment of the carrier, supervisory accompaniment of such children is inadequate.

A 10%* reduction off of the regular adult fare may apply for all persons who have reached their sixty-fifth (65th) birthday by their date of travel. Valid Government Issued identification listing the passenger’s Date of Birth will be required in order to board the vehicle. Please keep in mind that senior citizen fare discounts do not apply to tickets or fares that have already been discounted.
*Some restrictions apply to certain travel areas which offer a 5% discount instead of a 10% discount. Please contact our Customer Care Center to determine whether a 5% or 10% discount will apply to your travel itinerary.

All customer credits, including Driven Rewards Program points and awards, will be stored and accessible through each member’s “My Accounts” page on Trailway’s website. All credits, including Driven Rewards Program points and awards, expire one (1) year from the date the points are accrued. Expired credit, points and/or awards are removed from the account in the order in which they are earned. More information regarding the Driven Rewards Program can be found here.
Members may view current activity by accessing their account via the website, or may call Customer Care at (800) 858-8555 for any information and/or updates to their account.
Members may set up a My Account profile at www.trailways.ca. A user ID and password will be required to set up a My Account profile. Members will be asked to provide the user ID and password when accessing account information online. It is the member's responsibility to protect his or her user ID and password so that unauthorized users may not gain access to their My Account information.

Trailways trips cancelled due to weather or maintenance issues shall be eligible for a complimentary re-issue for a period of seventy-two (72) hours after the original date of travel. Travelers should contact Customer Care at (800) 858-8555 to facilitate the re-issue of their tickets within the time allowed.

Baggage of passengers shall be accepted subject to the following restrictions:
- No single piece of luggage will be accepted or carried when dimensions thereof exceed any of the following measurements:
Height: 24 inches or 61 centimeters;
Width: 24 inches or 61 centimeters; and
Length: 46 inches or 116 centimeters.- The maximum weight of all luggage to be to be transported shall be:
100 lbs or 45 kilos total (a maximum of 50 lbs/22 kilos per piece) per adult; and:
50 lbs or 22 kilos total per child.The maximum number of pieces permitted shall be two (2) per adult, and one (1) per child.
All baggage must be properly identified with the passenger's name and address. Stowed baggage must be claimed promptly on arrival, and must be supported by identification, ticket receipt, and excess value declaration (if applicable). Storage fees may apply for late or unclaimed baggage. Liability for lost or damaged checked baggage Is limited to the actual value, not to exceed $250.00 per adult ticket or $125.00 per children's ticket.
Certain Items are prohibited on over the road vehicles. A list of prohibited Items can be found here: Baggage Information. Carriers reserve the right to refuse to transport baggage containing prohibited items. Passengers found to be traveling with prohibited items may be requested to remove said items. Failure or refusal to do so may result in the passenger being refused transportation. Any ticket cancelled or otherwise invalidated due to a traveler’s refusal to remove prohibited items shall not be eligible for a refund.
The operating carrier retains the right to open and Inspect both checked and carry-on baggage, at Its discretion.

Each passenger must present a ticket and a valid photo ID in order to board any vehicle for which a ticket was purchased for on Trailways.com.
Passengers are responsible for obtaining the necessary documentation to cross the Canadian-US border. Passengers must have their citizenship documentation along with their ticket to board the vehicle. Passengers without the proper documentation and ticket will be denied transportation.

Vehicles have an ability to accommodate up to two mobility devices conditioned upon the designated accessible seats being open and available. Seating is on a first come first serve basis and passengers can not be required to relinquish an accessible seat if they choose not to do so. Accordingly, it wise to plan on purchasing your tickets and arriving early.

Please be advised that smoking in all forms, including but not limited to cigarettes, cigars, vaporizers and e-cigarettes are prohibited on the vehicles of all Carriers sold on Trailways.com.

Trailways.com is responsible solely for transportation on its own vehicles in accordance with applicable limitations and assumes no responsibility for the acts and omissions of third parties, including motor coach and non-motor coach partners, except as imposed by law. In no event shall Trailways.com be liable for consequential or incidental damages for loss, damage or delay, including weather delays.
